'Ey up lads!
The Lindley-Stringer House
Ground Zero: The tree where Kurt first convinced Toni that he wasn't like the rest of them
Last weekend Robyn and I went up to Doncaster to say goodbye to our friends Kurt & Toni. We also wanted to see their house which they bought last year and are currently renovating. We can confirm that the house is great and once finished will be a superb space to live in. Being South Africans we were both very impressed by the size of their garden and entertainment area and thanks to the great weather, we put it to the test straight away by spending most of the afternoon there catching up on the grass and drinking beer.
Other than having a good catch up we really enjoyed a scenic walk to their local pub on the picturesque River Don, where Kurt incidentally first wooed Toni almost 9 years ago! On Saturday night we ventured into town for a tasty meal followed by a few drinks, but perhaps due to the revelry of earlier in the day or possibly that three out of the four of us are now in our thirties, it wasn't long 'til we sought the sanctuary of home and a rum and coke.
Thanks for a top weekend guys, it was so good to catch up and we look fwd to seeing you next year (hopefully)!
