Wales 12 RSA 34
The very least we could do to repay the Springboks for bringing so much joy into our lives last month, was go and support them when they played Wales for their one off 'Prince William Cup' test match in Cardiff yesterday.
Once again our warriors did not disappoint as they comprehensively outplayed a proud and very game Welsh side. We (the Boks) could so easily have fielded a weakened side but we didn't, we showed Wales the respect they deserve by fielding a side with 9 of the 15 players who lifted the World Cup just last month. You would've forgiven them for looking jaded or uninspired too, but jaded they weren't as they threw the ball around entertainingly and defended for their lives, playing and conducting themselves like the true champions they are. Well done guys!
It was a sad day too, Jake White's final match in charge of a side he's done so well in nurturing and turning into World Cup winners. Hopefully the powers that be will show the next coach a little bit more respect.
